Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson joins Anthony K. Shriver’s Best Buddies and businessman Carlos Slim in support of employing people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Johnson proclaimed recognition of October 7th as I’M IN TO HIRE day to bring awareness to the staggering 85 percent of adults with developmental disabilities without a paid community job.

The previous NBA All-Star and U.C. Berkeley alumni is serving his second term as Sacramento’s 55th mayor.
